Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Alicia Suárez is a passionate entrepreneur, celebrated fine artist and branding visionary based between Tampa Bay and Puerto Rico. With 25 years of experience in software and 16 years in the payment processing industry, paired with a background in corporate design and marketing from Syracuse University, her work fuses business precision with creative vision.
Alicia ran a software consultancy for over two decades, mastering technology while stripping away all complexity. Today, she leads Merchantify Payments reflecting her mission to dismantle the shady systems of traditional credit card processing and rebuild something better: transparent, ethical and built to protect businesses.
She pours her heart into every venture. A mother of three, a respected artist with work in major collections and a woman obsessed with simplicity and truth, Alicia doesn’t just run a company. She leads a rebellion against wasteful fees, confusion, and contracts designed to trap.
Outside of business, she’s found at the gym or cruising her red golf cart to Ricky Martin. In love with her Puerto Rican people and devoted to their upliftment, she actively supports social betterment initiatives across the island and mainland US.
